(IDI) announced today the launch of a joint-campaign to promote the Intellinx solution for insider threat protection. Close partners of IBM, the companies are focusing their efforts towards meeting the needs of the IBM install base of large and medium size corporations in the North East region. Many organizations now recognize that the foremost threat to corporate information security comes not from outside the company, but from dangers lurking within. Intellinx also enables compliance with the requirement for detailed audit trails as specified in government regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley and Basel II, and privacy regulations, such as GLBA and HIPAA.

Based on patent-pending sniffing technology, the Intellinx agent-less architecture generates no overhead and poses no risk to normal IT operation. The implementation process is quick, as the system runs on a separate server with no need to install anything on host or clients and with no need to change any application code.
